Coraline Response

    After watching the movie Coraline I was extremely pleased with it. The movie tells the story of Coraline and how she struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. After a few day at the house she finds this little door and decides to go in it. What she finds when she open the door is a whole other world. Everyone in this world has buttons for eyes and is opposite everyone in the real world. As Coralie keeps going through the little door she is forced to make a decision. Either she gets buttons for eyes or she can never visit this other world again. She declines joing the other world. Angry the other mother steals her parents from her and will only give her parents back if Coraline joins her in the other world. To get her mother back she challenges the other mother to a game. Coraline wins the game by finding all the eyes of the dead children and sets her parents free. Everything is now better and the family rejoices along with their neighbour.  The many character included in the movie include Wyabe, Miss April Spink and Miss Miriam Forcible, the mother, the father, Mr Bobinsky, the cat, and their other world opposites. One of my favourite parts of the whole film was the rat circus composed by Mr Bobinsky. It was my favourite scene because it must of taken the people who did this a lot of time to do it. Another favourite scene of mine was when the cat began talking to Coraline. This was my favourite scene because it was so unexpected to see the cat talk. After watching the behind the scenes I learned many techniques. Whe making the moels don't try to make them to realistic or esle it wouldn't be that fun. Another trick the people demostrated was to amke a lower face half and a top half face. This can help because it can make the animation go faster.
